  • Nudge water bottle with the current hour marker line visible at eye level

    Drink

Not "drink more water." Drink to the line. The decision is made for you.

  • Nudge water bottle nearly empty at end of day after full 2L intake

    Repeat

By day 7 you stop thinking about it. By day 30, your default has changed. Quietly.

Joe, founder of Nudge, holding a Nudge Time Marker water bottle

Why I built Nudge

For most of my life I drank less than a litre of water a day. Headaches, low-grade nausea, never recovered from anything — I thought that was just my baseline.

The first fix was embarrassing. I lined up tiny plastic bottles on my desk and counted the empties to force three litres. It worked. But it was wasteful, cluttered, ugly.

Then I built one bottle that does the cueing for me. No app. No counting. No mental tax. The environment does the work.

This is the bottle I needed five years ago. If you've been on the same fence — welcome.

Common questions

How long does shipping take?

3-5 business days within the US once your order is fulfilled. We ship from our US warehouse partner, not from overseas. Free shipping on orders over $39.

Is the bottle BPA-free? What's it actually made of?

Yes. All three bottles are BPA-free, BPS-free, phthalate-free Tritan plastic. Lids use silicone gaskets — also BPA-free. We don't sell anything that touches your water that we wouldn't drink from ourselves.

What if I don't like it?

30-day no-questions returns. Use it, wash it, decide. If it's not for you, email hello@nudgebottle.com and we'll refund you. No "send it back in original packaging" gymnastics.

How does the hour-marker thing actually work?

The markers run from morning to evening down the side of the bottle. You fill it in the morning. By 11am the water level should be at the 11am mark. By 3pm, at the 3pm mark. It's not magic — it's just a visible cue that removes the decision. Your eyes pass over your desk hundreds of times a day. The bottle does the remembering for you.

Is this just an aesthetic gimmick?

No. We've deliberately designed the bottle to NOT be a lifestyle object. The whole pitch is that the bottle solves a specific behavioural problem — chronic under-hydration — using visible cues. If you want a bottle for aesthetics, Stanley and Owala will serve you better. If you want a bottle that gets you to actually drink 2L a day, this is it.

Where is Nudge based?

Nudge is a brand of FlowState Products LLC, registered in Wyoming, USA. We ship from US fulfilment partners. Customer support is real humans, not bots — reach us at hello@nudgebottle.com.
